Baby Dedication

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”  Proverbs 22:6

We want to partner with you as parents to raise up the next generation to be all God created them to be.

The purpose of dedicating our children is two-fold:

1. Declaring to the Lord and the church, that you are giving back the child God has entrusted you with and will do everything in your power to bring this child to a time when they will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior.

2. Engaging the church in leadership to help you accomplish that goal.

Practically, in order for us to partner with you to raise up your children, you must be a member or regular attender of New Covenant.

We get this model from the example of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:24-28. Dedication is a point of beginning. It is a public commitment and covenant that your child belongs to God first. You volunteer to act as an instrument of God for the training of your child. Every child has been born with a purpose, and only God knows what possibilities they hold, which is why you must point them to the Source.
